This initiative encourages families of individuals with autism or related conditions to carry an important blue envelope in their vehicle. Inside the envelope, essential documents, such as medical information or emergency contact details, are kept to provide first responders — especially police officers — with important information in case of a traffic stop or emergency.

The blue envelope helps promote positive, proactive communication between individuals with autism and law enforcement. It can ease a potentially stressful situation by providing officers with quick access to important details about the person’s condition, leading to better understanding and safer interactions.
